I am looking at purchasing an Ithica/SKB model 500 20 gauge O/U as a new grouse gun. Ithaca model 500 value, ithica 500, skb over under 28 gauge value. Feb 25, 2014 Knowing that Ithaca made X number of model37's in a given year is very helpful. But if I'm looking at an older Ithaca model 37, how would I find out if it's in original configuration (as shipped from the factory).
N Reply nThe Model 37 was the 'workhorse' of the company, and was produced in many different gauges and for different uses - we.y., a 'huge range gun', trench gun', deerslayer, turkey gun, etc., etc. Eách of those variables impacts the value, simply as will the condition of the weapon.
